We treat your vocabulary like your story journal.

LinguaLex is a browser-based app. Telegram is optional and used only if you choose one-tap login or bot reminders. Your vocabulary stays securely stored in DB either way. This policy outlines what we collect, how we use it, and your options.

1. Data we collect

Telegram basic profile data when you authorize the WebApp
Vocabulary entries you intentionally add or import
Story preferences (languages, genres, reading length)
Usage analytics events for CTA clicks and page performance

2. How we use your data

Generate dual-language chapters tailored to your vocabulary
Store your vocabulary securely in DB and scope it to your Telegram user ID
Send optional daily reminders if you opt in
Improve product decisions through aggregated analytics (no personal identification)

3. Sharing & retention

We do not sell your data. Limited team members can access data for support
Vendors: DB (database), Netlify (hosting), Telegram (authentication)
You can request deletion by emailing privacy@lingualex.app
Backups are retained for up to 30 days for disaster recovery

4. Your rights

Request a copy of your vocabulary and profile
Ask us to delete your account and data
Opt out of marketing communications
Contact privacy@lingualex.app for any questions
